How much Page Rank do we need to move up?

By: James

Actually the ranking shown in the google toolbar is not the real page ranking. The page rank figures are changed by a formula according to which the page rank is the resultant of the number of pages on the web multiplied by the figure 1.since the google toolbar ranges from 1 to 10 so the google divides the page rank of any website into 10 parts. Actually the page rank shown in the toolbar tells about what part is in the page rank. So they are just labels and should not be considered as actual page ranking for a website for digital marketing.

The issue is quite debatable whether the google toolbar has actually divided the range in 10 parts or not, but still one is never sure of the fact for digital marketing. It is in fact easier to move down the ranking than to move up. Hence many people come to the point that these rankings are not based on a linear scale. Rather they are based on an algorithmic scale developed by Google Company.

One might think that moving down the page is comparatively easier than moving up WHY? The answer is simple. Since the tool bar is based on an algorithmic scale, which is also known as base 10 scales so it needs 10 linked sites to move the toolbar 1 bar up. Well that will be very difficult for proper digital marketing, as that will take about 10,000 links to just go 4 grades up. Hence one should ask for consultancy before deciding anything.

However digital marketing is not effectively possible if the base is around the digit 10.In fact many people think that the base might be around 5 or 6 still it is a very difficult option to get among the top ranking for digital marketing.

Google agency believes that as the pages of a website increases and indicate a strong web presence so will the page rank improve too. With the improvement in the page rank, the divisions in scale will perk up too and hence one will succeed to promote their site for digital marketing. Many times addition of pages can drop the tool bar point. It can happen in this way if the page is already ranked lower but addition of new links can rank it slightly higher. There are chances that the page will ultimately end up just below the next division.

Google index is never constant. It moves up and down each month, which is called google dance. Many times after the google dance is over, some of the pages that were previously ranked higher, might end lower now for digital marketing. Hence google toolbar can indicate the position of the website over the net for enhanced digital marketing.
